Monday Night Football 9/9

Saints 30, Texans 28. What. A. Game.

The start was certainly slow, but after the first half, each team went blow for blow, ending in a final 2 minutes that was spectacular! NFL offenses need next to no time to score anymore, and the first game tonight proved that conclusively.

Saints get a stop, and hold on to a 24-21 lead, burn some time, and hit a field goal. Texans start deep, and Watson shows why he is an excellent quarterback, flying down the field in 13 seconds, throwing the TD pass to none other than Kenny Stills.

Saints with the ball, and 35 seconds left, just need a field goal. The one Texans miscue came from a prevent defense that allowed the Saints to reach field goal range, which Wil Lutz readily exploited.
