Work
Today was one of those interesting kinds of days. I woke up this morning, fully clothed, laying backwards in the bed in front of my laptop working on a DVD project for Kellie when my alarm went off.
Work was a bit less weird. We have a new phone system for one of our stores, and I’ve been working on programming the phones and extensions into the system. This will be my first IP phone deployment that I’ve been personally involved with.
Afterwords, I went to Applebee’s with some family to watch the Wichita State NIT game against Alabama. I want to say congratulations to the Shockers on their 66-57 victory!
I also was able to interact with my daughter via Skype tonight. I am really glad she has taken to seeing me on a monitor so well.
No real big personal thoughts tonight, other than I’m looking forward to getting back home this weekend.

As I sit in my living room, around 3 AM, I begin to really ponder what next week will be like. Since I’ve done a horrible job at keeping this up to date, allow me to fill in a few blanks.

Work
While I sit here trying to stay warm and watching Reba on TV, I begin to think on how my day went. So far it hasn’t been too bad, for a Monday.
There was plenty of snow to drive through this morning, but traffic wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Work was OK. The college had its first day of classes for spring 2010. It’s always good to see students back on campus.
I also see signs of hope as Twitter accounts are being used by the college. I feel it is a sign that social media is now viewed as more relevant by the college, and perhaps the community.
On the home front, my business is getting a lot of customers, which is always good. Unfortunately, this evening has been too busy to get to all of them.
This evening, I helped Kellie with making lasagna, while she was out getting a few needed items. I then played with Hannah for awhile, keeping her out of mommy’s hair. I then proceeded to feed Hannah, and then let her play in her room, since our dinner was taking a bit longer than usual.
We then started putting up the wall border that we had ordered. The project will look great once it’s complete. Soon after, we got Hannah ready for bed, gave her a bottle, and put her down for the night.
Afterwords, I finished up this post while watching Kellie do some more wall border detail work.
